Tru by Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Airport

This hotel is located minutes from the airport, and close to Port Everglades cruise terminal. The free airport shuttle service was on time and professional. Upon check in my room was clean and I didn’t have any issues. I appreciated that the hallway stayed quiet. I’d stay here again the next time I take a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale.

Selected this hotel for overnight stay for my cruise,the hotel shuttle pickup was very good the wait time was not long at all. Check on was great no problems, room was ready and clean with a mini fridge. Walking distance to restaurants. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

The staff is probably the nicest staff I have ever experienced at a Hilton. The rooms aren’t what I am use to (this is my first time at a Tru) the hotel has a bit of an “industrial” feel kind of like a Moxy hotel. But over we had zero issues

This hotel is perfect for travelers staying a single night before an early flight or a cruise. It is NOT for any kind of extended stay. The lobby is bright, modern and welcoming. The staff is young, friendly and efficient. The valet staff is excellent. (Use of the valet is required - there is no self-parking permitted here.) Here's the thing, the rooms are clean and well maintained, but there is no closet (just a bar and a few hangers) and no bureau or drawers of any kind. Also no microwave or coffee maker (though coffee is available in the lobby 24/7). The bed was supremely comfortable, but the room felt almost cramped with 2 of us (a single traveler who doesn't mind living out of their suitcase would be fine). I will say, too, that i have never stayed in a hotel before where they only stock 2 bath towels and one hand towel in each room (though I'm sure they would have supplied additional if we had requested them). But the room was immaculate when we arrived, and Housekeeping was otherwise efficient (though they didn't clean the shower, and the lotion dispenser at the sink was empty when we arrived and not refilled when they serviced the room). A plus for us was that, in spite of the many families present, the room was remarkably quiet, and even during the morning bustle of folks having breakfast and waiting for shuttles to the cruise port, the lobby didn't ever feel loud or crowded. Overall the breakfast offerings are meh, but the fresh pancake machine is a highlight. All told, the stay was not unpleasant, but Tru caters to a clientele and circumstance that is not us. Any disappointment is totally on me, though, for not realizing that prior to booking.

This hotel was exactly as specified in the pictures and reviews. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and clean. The beds were comfy. The service was good. The cintental breakfast buffet had decent options and the staff were making sure that things were being replenished as needed. Overall a good experience.

Rooms were very clean. We used this hotel for day use and they gave our rooms on time. We came early and had to wait but lobby setup is very cool and nice ..

Stayed here overnight after a last minute flight cancellation. We got 5 star service from Eduardo at concierge. The room was clean and fresh smelling and the hotel was beautiful. The food selection is fantastic including complementary water and coffee. Highly recommend. Best all? A complimentary shuttle to the airport when we needed it..

Loved the place! Extremely useful for pre cruise stay. Shuttle took 10 mins to come , very helpful guy! And they let us check in early which was great from a long day travels. Absolutely recommend this hotel for pre cruise stay. Breakfast was good too. Lots of options and family friendly. Lounge is huge, plenty to sit and they let us relax until we had to leave for the cruise. They have 24/7 coffee / hot chocolate which is a huge plus .
